Me Ablaze
Revelatory Compilations of a Lovesick Soul
5. The Day of the Lord
The day of the Lord is
coming. The day of the Lord is near.
To the mountains they will tremble, for an uproar they will hear.
God’s wrath will be dispersed to the nations far and wide;
Oh what dreadful fate a waits to those not on God’s side.
He is coming to destroy the wicked and all the evil of this earth,
And will only save the ones of whom
In Him, they’ve been re-birthed.
No longer will the haughty scoff, nor the ruthless take their posts,
For in the quaking they will crumble, All hail the Lord of Hosts!
Terror and agony will seize the nation,
Devastation across the land,
Every realm will be shattered by God’s great mighty hand.
Listen closely for the trumpets blast, listen for the call,
For if you are found unprepared, to the sword you will fall.
All that you have stored on earth will not help you on this day,
No possessions will give aide to you,
Nor any words that you could say.
Heaven and earth, they will tremble, and of the people,
They will wail.
The distasteful will plunder, and to their tactics they will fail.
Fire will consume them, no dwelling can they hide,
For God’s army will surround them, amongst every side.
God’s throne will be established, to this earth once ruled by men,
His glorious Kingdom will be formed,
All hail Him once again!
